Professional Development

The HCANY is committed to providing and facilitating professional development opportunities for all member coaches in New York State. Through collaboration and mutual support we seek to improve the learning experience for all hockey athletes.

High School Hockey

It is the mission of the HCANY to promote and support the sport of high school hockey in New York State. The Coaches Association facilitates communication between coaches for the purpose of scheduling games, tournaments, and special events that enhance programs.

Player Development

The most important participant in high school hockey is the student-athlete. With that as our goal the HCANY sponsors programs and activities designed to help develop sportsmanship, athletic ability, and promote the individual student-athletes.
